Inspirational posters have been in use for a very long time and are often still in print many decades after they first became popular.  In particular illustrations and words from World War I and II have the capacity to inspire and motivate us today.  Who could forget the iconic image of Lord Kitchener declaring “Your country needs you” or the campaign for “Keep calm and carry on”?  Many of these inspirational posters are currently in circulation as the demand and trend for kitsch and retro increases.  The messages are as motivational and inspirational today as they were many years ago. Inspirational Posters
